Kingsleys Steak & Crabhouse is launching into the Victorian market with the opening of its fourth restaurant in Flinders Lane precinct in Melbourne’s CBD on 21 November 2008.
Located in the well known fashion and dining strip, the opening of Kingsleys Steak & Crabhouse Melbourne was a natural progression for the brand and parent company Pacific Restaurant Group.
“We are very proud to open a restaurant in a city with such a vibrant dining culture and to be able to provide Victorians with the opportunity to experience the Kingsleys concept” said Adam Heathcote, general manager and group wine manager.
Using the traditional dark brown and red hues of the Kingsleys Steak & Crabhouse brand, the Melbourne restaurant is equipped with two private dining rooms – one for up to 12 guests and the other for up to 22 guests. The space also features a cavernous wine room and a 12m art deco bar on the upper floor.
The menu features all the Kingsleys classics such as Alaskan King, Snow & Mud Crabs, Angus Kilo T-Bone, Wagyu Striploin, Oyster Carpet Bag, Pasture Fed Petite Eye Fillet and a Charcuterie menu that is the first of its kind for a Kingsleys Steak & Crabhouse. To complement the menu is an impressive international wine list designed by Heathcote who also acts as the Group’s Wine Manager.
The Kingsleys Steak & Crabhouse brand is well recognised throughout Australia with three additional restaurants located in Sydney’s Woolloomooloo, Canberra CBD and along the Brisbane River with a view of Story Bridge.
