THE theme for this month’s annual Queensland Hospitality Industry Conference and Expo (QHICE) is “Work Smarter! Not Harder!”

Restaurant and Catering Queensland, together with State’s Hotel Motel and Accommodation Association, the Queensland Hotels Association and Clubs Queensland are hosting the event at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on 18-19 April.

Topics covered will include smoking bans, tax audits, Australian Workplace Agreements, security and credit card fraud.

There will also be sessions on best marketing tips and maximising profits.
